Flower and Field Colour Challenge - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

For Share it on a Sunday this week, the theme was a colour challenge - Flirty Flamingo, Misty Moonlight and Shaded Spruce.  This was another one that had me scratching my head as it's not a combination I would ever have put together - thanks Victoria Littlewood!!  Designer Series Paper to the rescue haha - thank goodness for some Flower and Fields, let me show you what I made.

Materials

1 piece of basic black card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of shaded spruce card stock 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of Flower and Field dsp 3 3/4" x 5 1/4" and a strip 1" x 3 7/8"
A strip of flirty flamingo card 1/2" x 5 1/4" and a scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
Flirty flamingo ink
Misty moonlight ink
Many mates stamp set
Dressed to impress stamp set
2" circle punch
2 1/4" circle punch
Basic rhinestones
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Dimensionals
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the basic black at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a landscape card.

Add the shaded spruce layer leaving an equal border all around the edges.

Add the strip of flirty flamingo card across the dsp and trim off any excess, then adhere the dsp layer to the shaded spruce, again leaving an equal border.

Punch out 2 circles from the scraps of flirty flamingo and basic white and on the white one, stamp two flowers from the Dressed to Impress stamp set in flirty flamingo ink, I have stamped off once to make the image paler.  Then stamp the sentiment over the top using misty moonlight.  Adhere the two layers together and add to the card front using dimensionals.

Add the small strip of dsp to the white layer and adhere to the inside of the card.

Add some rhinestones and the card is finished.  I hope that you like it.
