Craft and Chat Colour Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

A few days ago, Donna, Victoria and myself had a crafting session over Zoom and completed a colour challenge, these are the colours that we picked, we chose one each.

My card was inspired by Dena Rekow (The Creativity Cave) but I have used different stamp sets and embossing folders and added some butterflies too. I've never done a white on white card before so I thought that I would give it a try and I really like it, so watch this space for some more in the coming weeks.

Materials

1 piece of thick basic white 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the die cut and punched out heart
Scrap of silver foil and coloured card for the butterflies
Circle dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
3D Old World Paper embossing folder
Hearts Punch Pack
Monogram Messages stamp set
Dressed to Impress stamp set
Pacific point ink
Magenta madness ink
Bumblebee ink
Butterfly duet punch
Daffodil delight ruched ribbon
Basic rhinestones
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

Score the thick basic white at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Run the piece of basic white card through the die cutting machine using the embossing folder.

Die cut a large stitched circle (approx 3") from the scrap of basic white. Randomly stamp the small images in all 3 colours on the circle and also on the inside of the card.

Punch out two hearts, one in basic white and one in silver foil and stamp a sentiment on the white one.  Layer the two hearts together and add some ribbon to the back of it with some  sticky tape, then adhere to the centre of the circle using dimensionals.

Adhere the embossed layer to the card front, then add the circle to the middle top portion of that embossed layer.

Punch out 3 of the small butterflies and add to the card front with mini dimensionals and then decorate with some rhinestones.

I hope that you  like my version of Dena's card (thanks Dena) and will give it a try.
