A Touch of Ink Thinking of You Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I've been playing with the very lovely Touch of Ink stamp set which is FREE during Saleabration for a qualifying order from the catalogues. It's a beautiful two step stamp set and the second stamping is like a water colour wash over the top of the stamped images and doesn't line up exactly so don't try, it's not meant to. Today's card is just a very simply stamping, just to have a play really. Give it a try though, it is very pretty.

Materials

1 piece of melon mambo card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"

1 piece of basic black card 4" x 5 3/4"

2 pieces of basic white 3 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Memento black ink

Bermuda bay ink

Melon mambo ink

Touch of Ink stamp set

Multipurpose adhesive

Trimmer

Simply scored

Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the melon mambo card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a portrait card base.

Adhere the basic black layer and one of the basic white layers to the inside.

I stamped the flower first to the bottom left and then stamped the hummingbird so that it was just dipping its beak into the flower, both with memento black ink. I then stamped over the flower in melon mambo and over the bird in bermuda bay. Stamp the sentiment to the top left and add some of the sprinkles (not sure if these are butterfly trails or what they are) in melon mambo just to fill in some of the white space.
