Christmas to Remember - Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

This hop is a Christmas inspired one and I have made a pretty card using the Christmas to Remember stamp set and the Snowflake Speciality Vellum.

Materials

1 piece of balmy blue card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", 1 piece 1" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 2 1/2" square
1 piece of basic white 2" square, 1 piece 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of silver foil 4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3/4" x 5 1/2"
1 piece of vellum 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps to fussy cut snowflakes

Adhesive Backed Sequins and Gems
Balmy Blue ink
Paper snips
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Tear and Tape
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the balmy blue at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the silver foil to the card front and add the vellum with Tear and Tape across the centre where the band is going, so it won't be seen.

Adhere the silver foil strip to the balmy blue one and add using dimensionals across the centre of the card.

Die cut the 2nd largest square in balmy blue and the next size down in basic white. Fussy cut some of the half snowflakes from the edge of one of the sheets.

Adhere the blue square in the centre of the strip and then tuck the half snowflakes around it tucking the straight edges behind the square. Use dimensionals to adhere these, they won't show through the vellum that I chose because its a foiled one.

Stamp the sentiment on the white square and adhere to the centre of the blue one on the front and add some sequins.

Stamp a sentiment on the remaining white layer and add to the inside of the card.

I think this is a really pretty card and I'm going to make some more and try out some other colours.
