Friendship Card - Stamp 'N' Hop Blog Hop - #simplestamping

 Hi Everyone,

This month's blog hop is all about #simplestamping, just using minimal supplies to make a lovely card. I have used Gingham Cottage dsp, Shaded Summer stamp set, Heart Punches and a little bit of gingham ribbon. Let me show you how I made it using a sketch challenge.

Materials

1 piece of pumpkin pie card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of basic black card 3 3/8" x 4 7/8", 1 piece 1" x 3 7/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"
Pumpkin pie ink
Memento Black ink
Shaded Summer stamp set
Hearts Punch Pack
Scrap of Black & White Gingham Ribbon
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Multipurpose Adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini Glue Dots
Paper Snips

Instructions

On the long side score the pumpkin pie card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Adhere the dsp layer to the basic black mat layer and add to the card front.  Add the black strip across the centre using dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of white and then punch out with the straight edge heart punch and layer up on a scalloped one punched out in pumpkin pie.  Add this to the centre of the strip of black.  Tie a bow with the ribbon and add to the side of the heart with a mini glue dot.

Stamp another sentiment on the basic white layer and then stamp some flowers in pumpkin pie and add this to the inside of the card.

How simple was that? Job done, a quick and easy card. Why don't you try this sketch challenge too and see what you can come up with.

Please pop over and see what everyone else has been making too.
