Crafty Blog Hops - Trimming the Town

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Crafty Blog Hop group and the theme is the 'Trimming the Town' suite of products.  It is so easy to make a Christmas card with this dsp, let me show you how I made this one.

Materials

1 piece of misty moonlight card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
2 pieces of whisper white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 3/8" x 3 5/8"
1 piece of contrasting dsp 2" x 3 5/8"
1 piece of real red ribbon approx 6"
Cut out 2 trees, 1 house ,1 wreath and 1 sentiment from the dsp (see picture)
Mini dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Paper snips
Misty moonlight ink
Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set

Instructions

On the long side, score the misty moonlight card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Arrange the two pieces of contrasting dsp on one of the whisper white layers and butt them together in the middle of the card front, adhere but leave a small border around the outer edges.

Lay the ribbon across the join in the dsp and adhere to the back with a piece of sticky tape.

Adhere this layer to the card front leaving a border all around.

Fussy cut one house, two trees and a wreath and adhere them above the ribbon. I have added one of the trees on dimensionals just to give a bit of interest.

Cut one of the sentiments from the dsp sheet, there are several languages and phrases to choose from and adhere to the centre of the card front towards the bottom.

Stamp a sentiment on the other whisper white layer and adhere inside the card.

Job done, a quick and simple card, why don't you have a go. Pop over and see what my crafty colleagues have made.
