InspireINK Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the InspireINK group and the theme was a 'Sketch Challenge'. I have used the lovely Trimming the Town and the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set to make my card, let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of pool party card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of Trimming the Town dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of contrasting dsp 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"
Real red ribbon approx 6" long
Scraps of whisper white and pool party card stock for the sentiment
2" circle punch
2 1/4" circle punch
Misty moonlight ink
Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set
Gift Wrapped stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base, this one is landscape.

Add the ribbon across the larger piece of dsp towards the bottom and adhere it on the back to keep it in place.

Add the contrasting rectangle of dsp in the centre of the card front with the bottom of it just tucked underneath the ribbon and adhere in place.

Stamp a sentiment on the scrap of whisper white using misty moonlight ink and punch out with the 2" circle punch.  I have also stamped some of the little stars from the Gift Wrapped stamp set on this layer.

Add the stamped layer to the 2 1/4" circle of pool party and add to the card front using dimensionals.

Add a sentiment to the whisper white layer for the inside of the card and decorate if you wish, adhere in place.

There you go, another quick and simple card, have a go!

Please pop over and see what everyone else has made.
