Share it on a Sunday - CASE an Australian Demonstrator

 Hi Everyone,

It's Share it on a Sunday and this week the theme is 'CASE an Australian Demonstrator' and I have chosen Jacque Williams (StampHappyNZ). Technically, she is from New Zealand but I am calling it close enough, check her out on YouTube, she is a very talented lady.  Jacques version of this card was a sympathy card and i suppose that this one could be too but I have just made it as a 'Thinking of You' card which could be used for several different things.  Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of so saffron card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and a scrap for the sentiment
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 piece 2 3/4" x 5"
1  piece of dsp (I have used the Subtles dsp range in So Saffron) 2 1/2" x 5 1/2"
1 piece of silver foil 2 3/4" x 4 1/2"
Magnolia 3D embossing folder
Tasteful Labels dies
Basic grey ink
Life is Beautiful stamp set
Silver metallic thread
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine

Instructions

Score the so saffron card stock on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

The layers for this card need to be adhered together but not on to the card base, so position them on the card front to see where you want them. First the dsp, then the whisper white and then the silver foil on the top and adhere them together.

Then lay them in the embossing folder and run them through the machine, that way there will be some embossing on all of the layers.

Then adhere this layer to the card front and the remaining whisper white layer on the inside to write your message.

Stamp the sentiment on the scrap of so saffron with basic grey ink and die cut using the scalloped circle from the Tasteful Label dies.

Add some dimensionals to the back of this circle and wind some of the thread around your fingers to make a bunch and then stick on to the dimensionals so that there is some of it poking out from either side of the sentiment.

There you are, a very pretty card embossed in a slightly different way. I hope that you like it.
