Share it on a Sunday - All About the Leaves

 Hi Everyone,

This week's theme was chosen by Donna and it's 'All About the Leaves'. We have so many beautiful papers, stamp sets, dies and punches featuring leaves of all sizes and descriptions at the moment, it was hard to choose.  I returned to my favourite though, the Forever Greenery Suite, let me show you how I made this card and don't forget to click on the links below this post to see what Donna and Victoria have made.

Materials

1 piece of shaded spruce card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
Scraps of shaded spruce, old olive, silver foil and whisper white
2 pieces of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of Forever Greenery dsp 1 1/2" x 5"
2" circle punch
2 1/4" circle punch
Forever Fern stamp set
Forever Flourishing dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder
Shaded spruce ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the shaded spruce card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Run one piece of the whisper white through the machine in the Old World Paper embossing folder and adhere to the card front.

Die cut several leaves using the scraps of green and silver card.

Adhere the dsp to the left hand side of the card front with wet glue as it's going on top of embossing.

Arrange the leaves in a pattern on the card front using wet glue to fix them in place.

Punch out the two circles and stamp on the whisper white one with shaded spruce ink and adhere the two together.

Add to the card front using dimensionals over the top of the leaves to hide where all the stems meet.

Stamp some leaves on to the second piece of whisper white and add to the inside of the card.

There you are, a pretty card using mainly scraps, give it a try.
