Hi Everyone,
For todays card I wanted to play with the beautiful Dainty Flowers designer series papers which are FREE during Sale-a-Bration and make some of the colours pop just a bit more. I've used lots of layers on this card and the Wildflower Path and True Beauty stamp sets.
Materials
1 piece of fresh freesia card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of rich razzleberry card stock 4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
1 piece of basic white card 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 1/2" x 5 1/4", 1 piece 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Wildflower Path stamp set
True Beauty stamp set
Rich Razzleberry ink
Old Olive ink
Brushed Brass Butterflies
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Instructions
On the long side score the fresh freesia card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Layer up all the different mats starting with the largest rich razzleberry card, then the largest dsp, then the smaller razzleberry. Stamp a sentiment on the final dsp before you add this to the card front. Make sure they all have equal borders all around.
On the remaining piece of basic white stamp a long stem and add flowers and a sentiment. Adhere this to the remaining razzleberry mat and add them both to the inside of the card.
Add some butterflies and the card is complete. How easy was that? Just lots of mats but I think it really makes the centre panel pop and helps to show off all the lovely colours.
I hope that you like my card, please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made this week too.
