Very Versailles - Background Stamping - Crafty Collaborations

 Hi Everyone,

It's a background stamping blog hop today. Now I don't have any of the full size background stamps but I've brought out Very Versailles and used the background stamps from that, I haven't inked this up in a long time.  I think it works really well to make a very #simplestamping card with beautiful sentiments. Let me show you how I made it:

Materials

1 piece of evening evergreen card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and a scrap for the sentiment
2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
Very Versailles stamp set
Soft Sea Foam ink
Evening Evergreen ink
Double oval punch
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the evening evergreen card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Using soft sea foam ink, stamp the text stamp all over one piece of the basic white card and just once in the middle of the other one.

Using evening evergreen ink stamp the ivy in random lines diagonally across the top of the soft sea foam stamping on one piece. Stamp a sentiment across the centre of the other piece.

Adhere the main stamped piece to the card front and the other to the inside of the card.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and punch out with the straight edges oval and then punch the larger scalloped one out of evening evergreen.  Layer up and add to the card front on dimensionals.

A very quick and easy #simplestamping card. Please pop over and see what everyone else has made.
