Gorgeous Leaves Meets Hand Penned Petals

 Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would have a go at this week's Creative Colour Challenge and I have used some inspiration from a card that I saw Dena Reko make on her latest live. I thought the splodges (technical term haha) from Gorgeous Leaves would make a great background pattern and then I have stamped over the top in Crumb Cake using the Hand-Penned Petals.

Materials

1 piece of crumb cake card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of crushed curry card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
Gorgeous Leaves stamp set
Hand-Penned Petals stamp set
Crushed Curry ink
Crumb Cake ink
Blushing Bride ink
Trimmer
Gilded Gems
Simply scored
Bone Folder
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

On the long side score the crumb cake card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Add the crushed curry layer to the card front.

On the smaller piece of basic white, starting with crumb cake ink, randomly stamp the large splodge in the bottom right hand corner going diagonally. Then stamp with crushed curry across the middle, still in a diagonal way and then finish with the blushing bride covering the whole piece of basic white.

Stamp the large floral image over the top using crumb cake ink and stamp the sentiment in the top right hand corner.  Adhere this layer to the card front.

Stamp another of the floral images on the left of the piece for the inside and stamp over the flowers using the smaller splodge in blushing bride and crushed curry, adhere this to the inside of the card.

Add a few gilded gems to the flower centres and the card is done.
