Hi Everyone,
I've been video hopping with the Stamp Around UK group today and the theme is 'Home Decor'. I struggled with this theme but then saw a coaster on my craft desk that I had made a while ago for friends and thought I could make these again but show lots of different ways to use them. You could dress up your Christmas table, make them for customer gifts, craft fairs, change them with the seasons, the opportunities are endless. Materials
For each coaster
1 blank acrylic coaster (Amazon/Ebay/craft shops)
1 piece of 3 1/2" square card/designer series paper
1 piece of 3 1/2" square card/dsp for the backing - you could stamp a message here
Stamp sets
Inks
Dies
Multipurpose adhesive
For the ones in the main picture above:
Pansy Petals dsp
Die cut/fussy cut flowers and leaves
In Good Taste dsp
Foil card
Starlit Punch
The next two are hand stamped designs using
Lovely You stamp set
Gorgeous Posies stamp set (retired) - this is the one that was already on my desk

Real red card stock

Scraps of basic black and polished pink card for the die cut
Floral Square dies
When you have finished your design, place it inside the coaster and click the back on it. You can add a second layer with a message first if you want to.
As you can see from the 8 different designs, the opportunities are endless, you can use anything at all, just don't add any raised embellishments as the coasters won't click shut.
Give it a go, have some fun and decorate your table or make some cute gifts.

All i can find on amazon is 4 for 34.95. Do you have a cheaper seller?
ReplyDeleteI’ve just looked on Amazon UK and they are £13 for 10 so they have gone up. I just typed in Acrylic blank coasters and they were there.
ReplyDeleteI am not finding the coasters on Amazon. I find the blank acrylic coasters, but none that has 10 in the package. There are 4 of them for $34, but that is little to high. Will you post a picture of the ones you got from Amazon, please Thank you Ardis
ReplyDeletePerhaps they are not available in US. I can only tell you I bought from Amazon Uk. If you watch the video you can see what they look like and there must be something equivalent in the US that would work for you. Perhaps try a craft shop?
