Gorgeous Posies Ribbon Get Well Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Crafty Collaborations Group and the theme is 'Ribbons' to use them in any way on a project.  Apart from the odd bow here and there, ribbon is not something I use very much but I decided to use up some of the lovely scalloped linen ribbon in rococo rose before it retires in May when the new annual catalogue launches.

Materials

1 piece of rococo rose card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps of rococo rose and basic white for the sentiment
Gorgeous Posies stamp set
Rococo rose ink
Crumb cake ink
5 pieces of rococo rose scalloped linen ribbon approx 6" long
2 1/4" circle punch
2" circle punch
Stamp and Seal +
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side, score the rococo rose card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a portrait card base.

Stamp a design on the top half of one of the pieces of basic white using the Gorgeous Posies stamp set.

Cover the bottom half in Stamp and Seal + and then lay the ribbon pieces side by side to completely cover the bottom half of the card.

Add some Stamp and Seal + to the reverse of the card and fold the ends of the ribbon over and stick them down.  Use multipurpose adhesive all over the back of this piece and then adhere to the card front - I used some clips to hold it in place until the glue set so that the bottom half with the ribbon didn't lift up.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of basic white and then I have have stamped a flower over the top in the same colour but stamped off twice so that it is very pale.  Add this layer to a 2 1/4" circle punched out of the rococo rose and adhere the two together and then add dimensionals to the back and add to the card front.

Stamp a sentiment and any decoration on the other piece of white card and add to the inside of the card.
