Zoom Crafting Colour Challenge

 Hi Everyone,

Every couple of weeks or so, Donna, Victoria and I have a Zoom crafting session so that we can create something together as well as have a good old natter. This time was another colour challenge and we all chose one colour - pumpkin pie, grey granite and daffodil delight.  This is the card that I made.

Materials

1 piece of pumpkin pie card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of grey granite card 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of pumpkin pie dsp from the Regals dsp stack 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps of basic white (approx 1/2 sheet) and black for stamping and die cutting
Butterfly Brilliance stamp set
Gorgeous Posies stamp set
Grey granite ink
Daffodil delight ink
Pumpkin pie ink
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Matt Black dots
Paper snips
Blender pen
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side, score the pumpkin pie card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a portrait card.

Adhere the grey granite mat layer and then the dsp layer leaving tiny borders all the way around the edges.

The Butterfly Brilliance is one large stamp with 6 butterflies and very detailed, it needs a good 1/2 sheet of card to stamp it.  Stamp the image in grey granite and then fussy cut two of the butterflies to colour.

I don't have Stampin Blends in the right colours so I have used the Blender Pens and the ink pads to colour in my images.

Die cut two rectangles, one white and a larger black one for the sentiment. Stamp the sentiment on the white layer and adhere to the centre of the black layer and then  add to the centre of the card using dimensionals.

Add matt black dots to the body of the butterflies and then add them to the card front with dimensionals, bending their wings up to give them some life.

Stamp on the remaining white layer and add to the inside of the card.

I hope that you like my colour challenge card and will give it a try.
