Hi Everyone,
Today for Share it on a Sunday, the theme was 3D but I have cheated a little bit. A few weeks ago, I stamped my own designer series paper using the Art Gallery and Forever Fern stamp sets and never did anything with it. I needed a small gift for a friend and decided to use some of this paper to decorate a Mini Paper Pumpkin box and a card for my friend. To see the original project detailing the stamping, click on the link below:
Materials
Original 8" x 8" one sheet wonder (see the link above for the materials used to make this)
1 piece of thick basic white card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of rococo rose card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 piece 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
1 piece of the stamped design 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" for the card and 1 piece 3 1/4" x 5"
Scraps of white and rococo rose card for the sentiments
Silver edged ribbon
Rococo rose ink
Double Oval Punch
Basic rhinestones
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini glue dots
Trimmer
Instructions
Make up the paper pumpkin box, add the rococo rose layer to the top and then add the stamped layer to the top of that leaving equal borders all around.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of basic white and punch out and layer on top of the larger oval punched out of rococo rose. Add to the bottom left of the box top with dimensionals, add a small bow and a rhinestone to decorate. Fill with chocolate treats.
Score the card base on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a landscape card. Add the rococo rose layer and then the stamped layer leaving equal borders.
Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of basic white as for the box and layer up on the rococo rose and add to the lower left of the card front. Add a small bow and a rhinestone to decorate.
Stamp a sentiment on the inside and decorate if desired.
A quick and easy matching card and gift box using a lovely unique stamped design. Why don't you give it a try, it's great fun.
