Peaceful Poppies Set of 3 Nesting Boxes

Hi Everyone,

Today I've been making gift boxes, hopefully for my craft fairs, but I wanted to cut down on the storage space so these three nest inside each other until you are ready to fill them.  You can display them nested or stacked to show them off.  I hope you like them and will give them a try, they are super simple to make.

Materials

Small - 1 piece of card stock 4" square and 1 piece 4 1/16" square, 1 piece of dsp 1 3/4" square

Medium - 1 piece of card stock 5" square and 1 piece 5 1/16" square, 1 piece of dsp 2 3/4" square

Large - 1 piece of card stock 7" square and 1 piece 7 1/16" square, 1 piece of dsp 3 3/4" square

(I've used Real Red and Peaceful Poppies)

Scraps of whisper white and real red card stock to make the tag.
Real red ink
Sending you thoughts stamp set
Detailed tag topper punch
Detailed trio punch
Black glitter ribbon
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone Folder
Paper snips

Instructions

All three boxes are made in the same way.

For the small and medium boxes, score at 1" on all four sides on both base and lid.

For the large one, score at 1 1/2" on all four sides of base and lid.

Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Cut up the vertical score lines to the horizontal line on all sides of the base and lid to make the tabs and then notch either edge of the tab.

Add glue to the outside of each tab and then bring the folded edge to the cut edge and secure in place all the way around the box and the lid.

Add the dsp to the centre of the top of the lid and add the lid to the box.  They should all fit snugly.

Cut a piece of whisper white 1" wide by however long you want the tag to be and use the punches to make the tag top and round the corners.

Cut a piece of real red 1 1/2" wide and a bit longer than the whisper white and repeat the step above.

Stamp the sentiment on the whisper white layer and then adhere it to the real red layer.

Put the boxes inside each other and then tie a ribbon around the outside and add the tag.

See, I told you it was easy.
