VE Day Inspired TicTacToe Challenge

Hi Everyone,

Today's card is one that I have completed for a VE Day inspired Tic Tac Toe Challenge over on Craft and Banter which is a new fun Facebook Group for all crafters, not just papercrafters.  It's a small, friendly group trying to attract more followers so the aim of this week's challenge - and there is a little prize for the winner - is to make something that follows a line in the tic tac toe board (it could be a cake, piece of embroidery, knitting, crochet, a card, a box, a tag, a bookmark,  absolutely anything you like).  Here is the board

So I chose the line, RED, FLORAL, SQUARES for my card and this is how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of real red card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
3 pieces of whisper white card stock 1 7/8" square
1 piece of whisper white card stock 1/2" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 4" x 5 1/2" for the inside
3 pieces of dsp 1 3/4" square (I chose peaceful poppies)
Timeless Tulips stamp set
Memento black ink
Trimmer
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold the real red card stock in half and burnish the fold.

Adhere the dsp squares to the whisper white squares and arrange on the card front.

Stamp the sentiment on the strip of whisper white in memento ink and adhere to the card front.

Add the whisper white layer to the inside.

Click on the link below to check out this fab new group, ask to join and answer a couple of very simple questions and have a go at the challenge, you will be very welcome and if you have any crafty friends, please tell them about us too.

Look forward to seeing you over there.

Happy crafting,

Karen XX
