One Sheet Wonder - pink, lilac and green

Hi Everyone,

I've been playing with Beautiful Friendship and Very Versailles again, I don't know why it's taken me so long to get these two stamp sets.  It's a very simple design and my placement is a bit off as I'm still not very confident with stamping these designs but I've managed to cut it up into 6 cards in total.

Materials

Highland Heather, Old Olive and melon Mambo card bases
Gray granite and basic black card for mats
Whisper white for stamping and the inside of the cards
Memento black ink
Purple posy ink
Melon Mambo ink
Highland heather ink
Old olive ink
Beautiful Friendship stamp set
Very Versailles stamp set
In colour gems
Enamel embellishments (retired)

Instructions

I'm not going to give you chapter and verse about the stamping, I'll let you just go for your own design.  I used the script stamp in purple posy to stamp a background then the large stamp which looks like a hydrangea and stamped it in melon mambo 8 times in total. I then added smaller lilac type flowers in highland heather around the large flower. I added some of the double buds in purple posy and then some leaves in old olive. (I know that not everyone has purple posy but you could stamp off highland heather to get the paler effect instead.)

Then I chopped the sheet up into 6 pieces, all slightly different in size to account for the position of the flowers.  I mounted some on gray granite and some on basic black and then arranged them on the coloured card bases.

I've used the sentiments from Very Versailles on all of them and stamped with memento black ink and then added embellishments from my stash.

This is just to give you an idea, these happen to be my favourite colours but you could use any colour and make any design.  Even if you don't like what you've done, when you chop it up into card fronts, it looks different again, give it a go!
