Missing You Card

Hi Everyone,

I thought that I would use a few of the things that I have bought in my pre-order from the new Stampin' Up! catalogue and bring them all together to make a card for someone I haven't seen for a while due to the lockdown.

Materials

1 piece of basic black card stock 4 1/8" x 11 3/4"
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a strip 5/8" x 3 7/8" (I've used World of Good)
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
Scraps of gold foil for leaves and sentiment layer
Forever flourishing Dies
Die cutting machine
Crushed Curry ink
Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
Lovely You stamp set
2020-2022 In Colour Enamel Dots
2020-2022 In colour ribbon (Bumble Bee)
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Tear and tape

Instructions

Fold the black card stock in half and burnish to make a tent fold card base.

Add the dsp to the card front and the whisper white layer to the inside.  Add the strip of dsp to the inside of the card along the bottom of the whisper white layer.

Die cut the two largest sets of leaves from the Forever Flourishing dies on gold foil and adhere to the front of the card as in the picture.

Add tear and tape to one side of the ribbon and adhere around the card front in the middle leaving the cut ends on the front as they will be hidden under the sentiment layer.

Cut a piece of gold foil 1" x 4" and punch both ends using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

Cut a strip of whisper white 3/4" x 3 1/2" and punch both ends.

Stamp the sentiment in the centre of the whisper white label in crushed curry (at the time of blogging, I had not been able to purchase the new in colour inks, otherwise I would have used Bumble Bee).

Adhere the white layer to the gold foil layer and add to the card front, centrally over the ribbon band with dimensionals.

Add three in colour enamel dots to the card front.
