Awash in Beauty Double Side Shutter Fold Card

 Hi Everyone,

This card is another one I made during my crafty day with Donna from Taffy Crafting. It's a Double Side Shutter Fold and I have used the gorgeous Subtles dsp stack in Balmy Blue and the Awash In Beauty dsp with a sentiment from Sending Smiles. Let me show you how I made it.

1 piece of Awash in Beauty dsp 3 1/4" x 4 1/2"
1 piece of basic white 2" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment

Instructions

On the long side score the balmy blue card at 1", 2", 3" and then repeat from the other side.

On the trimmer, turn the card to the short side and line up at the 1" mark and cut between the 1st and 3rd score line from the top and repeat at the bottom along the same 1" line.

Move the card to the 2" mark and repeat the cuts you just made.

Move along to the 3 1/2" mark and repeat the cuts and then again along the 4 1/2" line.

Carefully push the pieces between the cuts back and bring the ones at the side of them forwards and then burnish the folds. You should end up with top, middle and bottom sections forward and the 2nd and 4th back (see finished card).

Add the dsp layers to the panels across the card and down the two side panels as shown in the picture.

Die cut a piece of the Awash in Beauty dsp with the 2nd largest Scalloped Contour die, I carefully chose a bouquet from one of the pieces that I wanted to show off. Add dimensionals to the back and adhere to the front of the card as shown.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of white and then die cut with one of the label dies from  the Sending dies, add to the card front using dimensionals.

Adhere the remaining piece of white card to the back of the card to write your message.

Sprinkle some sequins around the flowers and the card is complete.
