Triple Layer Stamping - Beautiful Friendship - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

For this week's theme, we have chosen 'Triple Layer Stamping' which is basically just stamping on layers of card but looks really effective. Let me show you what I did using the Beautiful Friendship stamp set with rococo rose, merry merlot, balmy blue and old olive inks.

Materials

1 piece of merry merlot card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of rococo rose card stock 4" x 5 3/4", 1 piece 3" square, 1 piece 3" x 1 1/2"
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 3 3/4" x 5 1/2", 1 piece 2 3/4" square and 1 piece 2 3/4" x 1 1/4"
Rococo rose ink
Balmy blue ink
Merry merlot ink
old olive ink
Beautiful Friendship stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Glue dots
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder

Instructions

Score the merry merlot card stock at 4 1/8" on the long side and then fold and burnish to make the card base.

Arrange the 3 smaller whisper white layers on top of each other in a way that you like, it doesn't have to match the layout I have done. Add a glue dot to the back of the two smaller pieces but rub your fingers over the glue dot to reduce the stickiness a bit.

When you are happy with it, start to stamp your design, I stamped the sentiment first using merry merlot.  I used the rococo rose for the largest floral image and stamped it 3 times around the layers.  I then stamped it on a post it note and cut around it so I could use this as a mask.

I covered the large flower with the mask and then stamped the smaller images around it, moving the mask from one large floral image to another to complete my design.  I stamped the buds in merry merlot, the sprays in balmy blue and the leaves I stamped off once using old olive.

Then adhere each whisper white layer to its corresponding rococo rose mat.

I have glued the largest layer to the card base and then popped the other two pieces on to dimensionals. When you position them, make sure that the mat layer is in the right place and covers up the straight edges and stamped of bits on the layer below.

Add the remaining whisper white layer to the inside of the card.  I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.
