Well Suited Flip Front Masculine Birthday Card - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

For this week's Share it on a Sunday, Donna, Victoria and myself are featuring a 'Masculine' theme.  I always struggle with masculine cards so I am really pleased to see this great new designer series paper in the Mini Catalogue - Well Suited - it's ideal for masculine themes and projects.  Let me show you how I made this card:

Instructions

Score the 8 1/4" x 3 1/8" piece of pacific point on the long side at 4 1/8", fold and burnish to  make the small tent fold card.

Adhere the large piece of dsp to the large piece of pacific point (this represents the shirt).

Stamp a sentiment on the larger piece of whisper white and adhere to the inside of the small card.

Adhere the contrasting dsp to the front of the small card and then adhere the card in the centre of the back panel (this represents the tie).

Add the two 1/2" strips of pacific point at either side of the panel (to represent the braces).

Stamp the sentiment on the 1/2" strip of whisper white and adhere it to the 3/4" strip of gold foil, add this to the front panel of the small card (this is the tie pin).

With the other 1/2" strip of gold foil, punch both ends and then cut down to approx 1/2" (these are the fasteners on the braces),adhere these pieces on the pacific point strips towards the bottom and the small piece of scrap that comes out of the punch (the shaped end), can be used to look like another part of the fasteners of the braces, see the picture.

I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.  Don't forget to pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made:
