Hi Everyone,
Today I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share group and the theme is 'Saleabration' and the new Mini Catalogue so I have chosen to highlight some of the designer series paper (Paper Blooms) that is FREE during Saleabration with a qualifying order. I've teamed it with a new bundle from the January - June Mini Catalogue - Oval Occasions. let me show you how I made it.
Materials
1 piece of night of navy card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" and a scrap for the sentiment mat
2 pieces of whisper white card stock 3 1/8" x 5 5/8" and a scrap for the sentiment
4 strips of designer series paper (Paper Blooms) 1 1/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps of co-ordinating dsp to fussy cut the flowers (I used a 6" x 6" piece)
Night of navy ink
Oval Occasions stamp set
Double oval punch
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Paper snips
Instructions
On the long side, score the night of navy card stock at 1 1/4" and 2 1/2" at either side, fold and burnish to make the card base.
Stamp a sentiment on one of the whisper white pieces and adhere to the back of the card. Stamp the other sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and then punch out with the oval punch and mat it on the scalloped night of navy oval and set to one side.
Adhere the designer series paper strips to the panels at either side leaving a small border all the way around the outside.
Adhere the remaining whisper white piece to the centre panel leaving a border.
From your dsp scrap, cut out as many of the flowers as possible, including the half flowers on the edge. As you can see from my sample, I have adhered those around the edges to use them up.
Arrange the flowers all over the whisper white centre panel, fix the sentiment in place on dimensionals and then work around that. I have glued down the half images and the rest are on dimensionals.
It's a great design for using up scraps of dsp so that you don't waste anything, I hope that you like it and will give it a try.
