Fun Fold Friday #48 - Dandy Garden Double Flap Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday Series and this week I have made a Double Flap Fold Card using the lovely Dandy Garden designer series paper (from the new mini catalogue) and the Dandelion Wishes stamp set (from the Annual Catalogue).  There is a video tutorial over on my YouTube channel, click on the link below:

Materials

1 piece of bumblebee card stock 5 7/8" x 10", 1 piece 3" x 7"
1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 2 pieces 2 3/4" x 3 1/4"
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece of contrasting dsp 1 1/4" x 5 5/8"
Dandelion wishes stamp set
Garden Green ink
Approx 14" of contrasting ribbon
Tear and tape
Multipurpose adhesive
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the large piece of bumblebee card at 4 1/8" and 8 1/2" and fold and burnish to make the card base. Score the smaller one on the long side at 3 1/2" and fold and burnish to make the small card which sits on the front.

Stamp the sentiment on one of the smaller pieces of whisper white and then stamp off the dandelion images to give a paler effect.  Stamp on the other small piece of whisper white either for decoration or you can add another sentiment.  Stamp on the large piece of whisper white for the inside.  I haven't added any further sentiments, I have just stamped the dandelion images in both places for decoration.

Adhere the large whisper white layer to the inside of the card.

Adhere the large dsp piece to the left hand side of the front and the strip to the narrow piece on the right.

Adhere the ribbon on the front of the small card using tear and tape, make sure that there is enough at the left hand edge to tie the bow.  The rest of it will go around the back of the large card to meet it on the left of the card.

Add the sentiment layer to the small card over the top of the ribbon to hide it and adhere the other piece of whisper white to the inside of this small card.

Tie a bow on the left of the card and trim off any excess ribbon.

I hope that you like this card and will give it a try.
