Heart to Heart Flowering Blooms Valentine Card - Share it on a Sunday

Hi Everyone,

This week the theme for Share it on a Sunday is 'Valentine', we thought that we would give you all some inspiration and then there is no excuse for you not having made cards for your loved ones in time. I have brought out two stamp sets from the annual catalogue for my card. Make sure that you click on the links below to see what Donna and Victoria have made too.

Materials

1 piece of real red card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"

1 piece of basic black card stock 4" x 5 3/4" and 1 piece 3 1/4" x 4 3/4"

1 piece of gold foil 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" and 1 piece 3" x 4 1/2"

Real red ink

Heart to Heart stamp set

Flowering Blooms stamp set

Multipurpose adhesive

Dimensionals

Trimmer

Simply scored

Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the real red card stock at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Add the basic black layer and then the gold foil leaving small borders all the way around the edges.

Stamp the main floral image in the centre of the smaller whisper white layer towards the top and then stamp the sentiment directly underneath it.

Stamp another sentiment on the remaining piece of whisper white and decorate if you like, i have added a single heart image.

Adhere the larger whisper white payer to the inside of the card.

Adhere the floral image layer to the smaller basic black layer and fix to the front of the card with dimensionals.

This is a very quick and easy card to make and could be changed up for any occasion but just changing the colours or adding designer series paper. Give it a try.
