Art Gallery Ombre Concertina Fold Card - Pootlers Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Pootlers Team and the theme was 'Saleabration'.  There are some fantastic stamp sets and papers that are available FREE with a qualifying purchase.  I have used the Oh So Ombre designer series paper for my card and I have teamed it with the Art Gallery stamp set and Floral Gallery dies from the new January - June Mini Catalogue.  Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of bermuda bay card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of whisper white card stock 3" x 5 5/8" and scraps for stamping and die cuts
1 piece of dsp 3" x 5 5/8", 2 pieces 3/4" x 5 5/8" and 6 pieces 1/4" x 5 5/8"
Bermuda Bay ink
Night of navy ink
Art Gallery stamp set
Floral gallery dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side, score the bermuda bay card stock at 1", 1 1/2", 2", 2 1/2" at either end.

It is easier to adhere the designer series paper BEFORE you fold and burnish the score lines but do it whichever way suits you. I folded first and then realised it would have been easier to but the dsp on first.

Adhere the dsp layers to the sections across the card starting with 1", then 3 x 1/4", then the largest, then 3 x 1/4" and finally 1" pieces.  Fold and burnish the score lines starting from the centre outwards, valley, mountain, valley.

Add the large whisper white layer to the back to write your message on, you can also decorate this if you want to.

Stamp the floral image and the sentiment on the scraps of whisper white. I have stamped the main image in bermuda bay and then used night of navy for the second stamping on the flowers and the sentiment.

Die cut the floral image and the sentiment as well as the words using the Floral Gallery dies.

Arrange the words across the centre panel making sure that you leave enough space for the flowers and the sentiment. Then add the floral image on dimensionals and the sentiment over the bottom of the stem.

This is a very easy card to make and looks great with this FREE designer series paper, why don't you give it a try.

Now please hop on over and see what fantastic projects my team mates have made.
