Hand Stamped Coasters - Ink Stamp Special Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share group and this time I have been making some coasters as Christmas presents for friends.  I love to stamp my own designs and often try out new stamp sets and colours to just see how it looks in a one sheet wonder which I then usually cut up and make cards with.  I keep them in a folder until I am ready to use them and I thought maybe I could do something different with them this time.  I bought the acrylic blanks online and started chopping and these are what I came up with.

Materials

Acrylic coaster blank (bought online)
1 piece of whisper white card stock 3 1/2" square for the backing
1 piece of hand stamped dsp (or you could use dsp) 3 1/3" square

To make mine I have used

Beautiful Friendship stamp set
Quite Curvy stamp set
Magenta Madness ink
Gorgeous Grape ink
Bumblebee ink
Old Olive ink
Basic Grey ink

Trimmer
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

It really is very simple. I stamped all over a piece of A4 whisper white in the colours above and then cut up the image into 3 1/2" squares.

Then I stamped my sentiment in whatever white space was left in basic grey ink and stamped the sentiment for the reverse on the plain piece of whisper white, also in basic grey ink.

Adhere the two together, back to back and place inside the blank coaster, press the edges firmly shut and they are done.

I do hope that you (and my friends) will like them, they were made with love for some very special ladies and they know who they are.
