Hi Everyone,
The other evening I did some crafting with my good friends Donna and Victoria over Zoom. One of the things that we did was a colour challenge and each of us picked a colour - I don't think that any of us would have normally put those colours together (Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Bumblebee) but it seemed to work and we had a great laugh doing it. Let me show you what I made.
Materials
1 piece of thick whisper white 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
Scrap of whisper white for the sentiment approx 4 1/2" x 3/4"
Scraps of rich razzleberry, old olive and bumblebee card stock
1 piece of Plaid Tidings dsp to match 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Layering circle dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Lovely Labels Pick a Punch
Rich Razzleberry ink
Monogram Messages stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply Scored
Bone Folder
Paper Snips
Instructions
On the long side, score the thick whisper white at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.
Adhere the dsp layer to the card front.
Die cut 2 large circles, 2 medium and 2 small. Decide which colour is going to be the middle one and then cut 1 large and 1 small of each of the other two colours.
Cut all of the circles in half and adhere the sections together as shown above.
Place the circles in the centre of the card and adhere.
Punch both ends of the strip of whisper white and then stamp the sentiment in the centre, adhere to the card front so that it covers the join in the circles.
This is a very quick and simple card using minimal supplies but looks really effective.
These are the cards that Donna and Victoria made using the same colours:
