Good Morning Magnolia Embossed Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I thought I would try a bit of colouring on an embossed design.  I love this magnolia flower and I don't use it nearly enough.  Let me show you what I did.

Materials

1 piece of 6" x 12" very vanilla card stock
1 piece of blushing bride card stock 5 7/8" square
1 piece of very vanilla 5 5/8" square
Magnolia 3D embossing folder
Die cutting machine
3D embossing plate
Blushing bride ink
Soft sea foam ink
Good Morning Magnolia stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Sponge daubers

Instructions

Fold and burnish the very vanilla to make the card base and add a sentiment to the inside if required.

Run the embossing folder through the die cutting machine with the very vanilla card inside.

Rub the inks in a circular motion over the embossed design until you are happy with the depth of colour. I wanted this to be a very subtle colouring of the flowers and leaves.

Stamp a sentiment in the bottom right hand corner.

Adhere the layers together and then add to the card front.

Simple card but I hope you will agree, it looks lovely. Give it a try, it's easy.
