Share it on a Sunday - Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone,

For this week's Share it on a Sunday, the theme was a Sketch Challenge chosen by Victoria and I chose to use the very cute Playful Pets designer series paper. I hope that you like it, let me show you what I did.  The links to Donna and Victoria's projects are at the bottom of this post, please pop on over there and see what they have made today.

1 piece of Real Red card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" for the card base, 1 piece 3" square, 1 piece 1 1/4" x 4 7/8", 1 2/14" inch circle and 1 strip 1 1/2" x 5"

1 piece of whisper white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside, 2" circle of whisper white for the sentiment

1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2 7/8" square, 1 piece 1 1/8" x 4 5/8" (all contrasting designs).

Scrap 1/2" x 5 5/8" to decorate the inside and fussy cut one of the images

Multipurpose adhesive
Stamp and Seal
Timeless Tulips stamp set
Memento Black ink
2 1/4" circle punch
2" circle punch
Paper snips

The picture above is the Sketch Challenge that we are following.

Fold the real red card stock in half and burnish well to make the card base.

Adhere the largest piece of dsp to the card front and the whisper white layer to the inside of the card and decorate with the 1/2" strip of dsp.

Using the strip of real red, lay it diagonally across the card front and with a pencil mark where to cut so that the strip will lie as in the picture and adhere in place.

Add the dsp layers to the mat layers using either glue or the Stamp and Seal and arrange on the card front as per the sketch.

Punch out the circles and add the sentiment to the whisper white one with the memento black ink, add to the card front with dimensionals.

Fussy cut one of the animals and add to the card front.

A cute birthday card using the lovely Playful Pets and a Sketch Challenge, I hope that you like it.
