Share it on a Sunday - Case an International Demonstrator Using Lovely You and In Colours

Hi Everyone,

This weeks challenge was to CASE an International Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and there are lots to choose from.  I chose Patty Bennett from USA and I think that she is one of only six Demonstrators to have achieved $2 Million in Sales, which is an awful lot of paper, stamps and ink!!

This is a very simple tri fold card and looks good in any designer series paper and colour and you can use any stamp set.  I chose to showcase the new In Colour paper stack in Bumblebee and the Lovely You stamp set.

There are links at the bottom of the post to take you over to see what Donna and Victoria have made this week.

Materials

1 piece of whisper white thick card stock 5" x 11 1/2"
Scrap of bumblebee card stock and whisper white for the banner piece (1 1/2" x 4 3/4") and sentiment
1 piece of dsp 4 3/4" x 3 3/4"
1 piece of dsp 4 3/4" x 3" for the flap
Strip of dsp 4 3/4" x 1" to decorate the inside
Crushed Curry ink (at the time of writing the blog, I haven't got the new Bumblebee ink)
Lovely You stamp set
2" circle punch
1 3/4" scalloped circle punch
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Score the whisper white card on the long side at 4" and 8 1/4", fold and burnish.

Adhere the dsp to the two front pieces leaving a small border all the way around.

Fold the top flap over and with a 2" circle punch, line it up so the punch is in half way and punch out. This gives you the circle cut on the fold to enable you to pop the decorative circle through.

Stamp a sentiment and decorate the inside with stamped images and the 1" strip of dsp.

Stamp a decoration on the strip of whisper white for the banner section and stamp the sentiment on a scrap and then punch out with the scalloped circle punch.  Punch out a 2" circle from the scrap of bumblebee card.

With the card closed, adhere the decorated strip to the front and add adhesive to the bottom third of the punched out circle and place inside the cut out at the top so that it pokes through the aperture but is secured to the bottom flap. Add the sentiment layer and the card is finished.  I hope you like it and will give it a try.
