Today I am taking part in the Global Design Project Colour Challenge (#245) and the colours are Just Jade, Magenta Madness and Bumblebee. Three of the five lovely new In Colours, they are so bright and cheerful. Let me show you how I made this card:
Materials
1 piece of Just Jade card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of Just Jade In Colour dsp 4" x 5 3/4"
1 piece of Bumblebee card stock 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3 5/8" x 4 5/8" and 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" (for the inside)
Field of Flowers stamp set
Just Jade ink
Magenta Madness ink
Bumblebee ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Instructions
Fold the Just Jade card stock in half on the long side and burnish well to make the card base.
Add the Whisper White layer to the inside of the card for your message and decorate if required.
Adhere the dsp layer to the card front, I have used the wood grain effect one in Just Jade.
Stamp the grass along the bottom of the piece of Whisper White and then add the flowers in Magenta Madness. I've also stamped two dragonflies with the Just Jade ink. Towards the top left of this piece I have stamped the main sentiment using Bumblebee ink and then the smaller sentiment over to the right in Just Jade.
Adhere the stamped card front to the Bumblebee mat later and adhere to the centre of the card front.
There you go, a quick and simple card using three of the lovely new In Colours for 2020-2022.
