Daisy Pizza Box and Cards Gift Set

Hi Everyone,

Today I want to show you how to make a pizza style box with 4 cards and I'm going to showcase the new 2019-2021 in colours from Stampin'Up!.  These boxes of cards make great little gifts for teachers, coworkers, friends or to sell on your craft stall.  They are simple to make, give them a try and see for yourself.

Materials

For the box:

1 piece of card stock  6 3/8" x 11 3/4"
1 piece of  4" x 4" designer series paper to decorate
Scraps of card stock for the daisy
Scraps of whisper white for stamping
Multipurpose adhesive
Daisy Lane stamp set
Well Said stamp set
Daisy Punch
Classic Label Punch
1" circle punch
In colour faceted dots
Bone folder
Scoreboard
Ink to match

For the cards:

4 pieces of card stock  8" x 4"
4 pieces of designer series paper 3 7/8" x 3 7/8"
Adhesive
Scraps of card stock for the daisies
Scraps of whisper white for the stamping

Instructions

Take the large piece of card stock and put it in the scoreboard with the 6 3/8" side butting up to the top, score at 1", then turn 180 degrees and score at 1" on the other edge.

Turn the card stock with the long edge butting up to the top of the scoreboard and score at 1", 5 3/8", 6 3/8" and 10 3/4".

Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Cut tabs into all the squares as shown in the picture, decide which will be the top of the box and punch half a 1" circle as shown, this helps to open the box.

Before glueing the box together decorate the top of the box with the 3 3/4" square piece of dsp.

Adhere the tabs on the opposite end of the card stock inside the box to make the base, then adhere the middle two tabs to the inside.

Put adhesive on the final two tabs and fold the box up and fit them around the box to make a better fit.

Stamp two daisies on the scrap card and punch out with a daisy punch, adhere the two together arranging the top one so that there are no gaps between the petals.  Curl the edges of the petals with a bone folder and then adhere the daisy to the centre of the box lid with dimensionals.  Decorate the centre of the flower with a faceted gem.

Stamp the sentiment and punch out with the classic label punch and tuck underneath the petals of the flower and adhere with glue.

Cards:

Score each piece of card stock in the middle at 4" and fold and burnish.  Cut out a piece of dsp which is 3 3/4" square for each card and adhere to the front of the card.

Stamp out two daisies for each card on the coloured card stock which matches the base of the card and then punch out with the daisy punch.  Adhere together as you did for the flower for the box lid. Stamp the sentiment on whisper white in matching ink and punch out with the Classic Label Punch.  Adhere the daisy to the centre of the card with the sentiment tucked underneath as shown.

I hope that you enjoy making this project.  I have chosen to showcase the new in colours and the new paper stack, you can of course use any colours and any designer series paper, endless possibilities, give it a try.

Happy crafting.
