Hi Everyone,
A really quick simple card for you today that anyone can do. The designer series paper and the sentiment do all the talking for you and nothing else is required.
Materials
1 x whisper white card base (half a sheet of A4 cut at 4 1/8" lengthways and then scored at 5 7/8" and folded)
1 x whisper white 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
1 x coloured cardstock to match 3" x 3"
1 x dsp 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1 x dsp 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
Multipurpose glue
Ink to match for sentiment
Genuine Gems stamp set
Instructions
I have used both sides of a sheet of dsp for this card. On one side the colours and patterns are really bright and bold and on the other side, just abstract colour. I have used the plainer side as a matting layer underneath the bold pattern side.
Adhere the smaller piece of dsp to the larger piece leaving a small border all the way around, then adhere this matted layer to the card base.
Stamp the sentiment to the centre of the square piece of whisper white cardstock and then adhere that to the coloured square of cardstock, leaving a small border all the way around.
One version of this card I have made portrait and added the sentiment at an angle with dimensionals, the other one, I have made landscape and added the sentiment to the centre just with glue.
This is such a simple card and takes no time at all to make but is really quite striking because of the bold, bright colours.
