Mosaic Mood Gift Bag

Hi,

Today I have created a cute little gift bag that can be filled with sweets, chocolates or small treats.  There are many versions of this bag over on Pinterest and YouTube but this is my version, I hope that you like it.

Materials

1 piece of designer series paper 6 x 12 (I have used Mosaic Mood)
Scraps of card stock to stamp and decorate
Scraps of dsp to fussy cut for decoration
Multipurpose adhesive
Velcro dots
Stampin dimensionals
Ink to match (I have used garden green)
Stamp set for sentiment (I have used Daisy Lane)
1 1/2" circle punch
1 3/4" scalloped circle punch
Detailed trio punch
Snips
Scoreboard
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side score the dsp at 3 1/2", 5" and 8 1/2"
On the short side score at 1 1/2" and 4 1/2"
Fold and burnish all the score lines

As you look at the picture to the left, the left hand side of the paper will be the front flap of the bag.  Cut up the long score lines to the first score on both sides and make tabs as shown in the picture the the right.

Round the corners on the front edge of the flap and then lay the paper down so that the inside is facing up and the flap is at the top.
Add glue to the inside of the tabs and then fold the sides so that the tab sticks to the outside of the side which is closest to the flap, do this on both sides.
Then add glue to the inside of the side pieces closest to you and fold them over the top of the other sides.  This will enclose the tabs and make a neat finish to the sides.

When the glue has dried, push the two sides in so that the top edges are together and fold over the front flap.

Add a velcro dot to the front of the bag towards the bottom, put the other half on top with the sticky side up and then close the flap, this will stick the two halves together and close the bag. Pull apart carefully to make sure that there is one half of the velcro dot on the bag and one on the flap.

Fussy cut an image from the dsp, I have chosen a rose and some leaves and add some dimensionals to the back.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and then punch it out with the circle punch. Punch out a scalloped circle from the garden green and the stick the two together and add dimensionals to the back.

Arrange the pieces on the front of the bag.
