Peaceful Poppies Thank You Card

Hi Everyone,

Today's card is one I have made for a Tic Tac Toe challenge I was invited to set for team mates in a Facebook group that I belong to. From the board below, I chose : ribbon, thank you and squares and I am making a batch of these cards to use as my Customer thank you cards for April so that I can use up my Peaceful Poppies designer series paper before it retires from the catalogue in June.

Here is the Tic Tac Toe board that I used:

Materials

1 piece of 8" x 4" card stock (I used old olive) and 1 piece 2 1/2" square
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" square
1 contrasting piece of dsp 3 1/2" square
1 piece of whisper white 3 1/2" square for the inside and 1 piece 2 1/4" square for the sentiment
Old olive ink
So Sentimental stamp set
Scrap of glittered organdy ribbon
Multipurpose liquid adhesive
Mini glue dots

Instructions

Fold and burnish the 8" x 4" piece of card stock to form the card base.

Add the two dsp layers leaving an equal border all the way around.

Stamp the sentiment in the centre of the whisper white square using the old olive ink and then adhere this layer to the 2 1/2" old olive square and add in the centre of the card front.

Add the whisper white 3 1/2" square to the inside of the card.

Tie a small bow with the black glittered organdy ribbon and add to the front of the card using a mini glue dot.

That's all there is to it.  Why don't you try and make a card using the Tic Tac Toe board, it's a fun way of coming up with different ideas.
