Ornate Garden Shower Cream Box

Hi Everyone,

Today I have created a box for small 50ml bottle of shower cream, it measures 4 1/4" x 2" x 3/4". This would be great as a small gift or to go on your craft stall. Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of card stock 6" x 6 1/4" (I've used old olive)
2 pieces of designer series paper 1 7/8" x 4" and 2 pieces 5/8" x 4" (Ornate Garden)
Scrap of whisper white for the sentiment
2" circle punch
Length of ribbon (I've used daffodil delight ruched ribbon)
Delightful day stamp set
Daisy delight stamp set
Old olive ink
Crushed curry ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Simply scored
Trimmer
Bone folder

Instructions

On the short side score at 1/2", 1 1/4", 3 1/4" and 4".

On the long side score at 3/4", 5" and 5 3/4"

Fold and burnish all the score lines and then cut up the score lines and remove sections as in the picture of the template.

Add the dsp layers to the panels.

Flip it over and add glue to the long tab which will now be on the right and fold the left hand side over the top of it to seal up the sides of the box.

Stand the box on its top and fold the two bottom side tabs in and then fold the back flap forward and add glue to the reverse of the front flap and seal the bottom of the box.

Punch out a 2" circle and stamp small daisies in a random pattern in crushed curry, I have stamped off once to make the colour paler.  Then stamp the sentiment over the top in old olive and add two dimensionals to the back at the sides.

Wrap a length of ribbon round the box from bottom to top and secure on the top with a knot or a bow and then add the sentiment circle to the front so that it secures the ribbon in place.

There you are, a quick and simple gift or craft fair make.
