Awesome Perennial Essence Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I am taking part in a Team Scrimpy Blog Hop and the theme is Support and Encouragement and this is the card that I have made.  I have used a stamp set that I have found very difficult to use in the past but in this present state of uncertainty that we all face with the Corona Virus, I wanted to show the team that I think they are all awesome and that we've got this, we will come out the other end and it seemed appropriate to me now.

At the bottom of my blog post there are links to all of the other team members who have taken part, please go and visit them all and give them some support too.

Materials

1 piece of 5 1/2" x 11" Night of Navy card stock and 1 piece 2 5/8" square
1 piece of whisper white 5 3/8" square for the inside
1 piece of Perennial Essence designer series paper 5 3/8" square
1 piece of silver foil 3" square
Silver embossing powder
Embossing buddy
Heat tool
Versamark ink
Night of navy ink
Genuine Gems stamp set
Rhinestones
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

Fold and burnish the large piece of card stock to make the base (this is a tent fold card) and add the dsp layer to the front.

Rub over the sentiment piece of night of navy with the embossing buddy and then stamp the sentiment in the centre.  Sprinkle with silver embossing powder and then set with the heat tool.

When it has cooled down, adhere this layer to the silver foil layer and arrange in the centre of the card at an angle.

Stamp a sentiment on the whisper white layer and add to the inside of the card.

Add some sparkly rhinestones on the card front to represent stars.

I hope that you like my card now please pop over to see what my crafty colleagues have been up to:
