Peaceful Poppies Mini Notebook with Pen

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a cute little notebook, just big enough to keep in your bag or your pocket to jot down those important things that you remember whilst you are out and about. I hope that you like it.

Click on the link below to watch the video tutorial.

Materials

1 piece of basic black card stock 9 1/4" x 3 3/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 1/4" x 3 3/4" (I've used Peaceful Poppies)
Varied Vases stamp set
Memento Black Ink
Multipurpose adhesive
Scraps of card stock for the sentiment
1 3/8" scalloped circle punch
1 1/2" circle punch
Mini pen (Wilko)
Mini Jotter 3 1/8" x 4" (Wilko)

Instructions

On the long side, score the black card stock at 4 1/2", 4 7/8" and 5 1/4". Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Fold on the middle score line so that you have the outer pieces facing each other and make two snips about 1" apart in the centre, from the fold to the score line, this is for the pen to slide into.

Turn right side out and push out the section for the pen and fold down the two sections on either side of this.  On the inside, add adhesive under the two folded down sections to secure them and press along the fold with a bone folder until they are stuck securely.

Add glue to the back of the notebook and adhere to the inside of the folder with the top at the end where the pen section is.

Adhere the dsp mat to the front of the folder and then stamp a sentiment on a scrap of whisper white card and punch out with the scalloped punch.  Punch another circle with the 1 1/2" punch from the black card and glue them together and then add them to the front of the folder.

Add the pen to the top and its finished.
