Country Club Crossover Fun Fold Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a masculine card for this fun fold but it could just as easily be made using any designer series paper and changing up the colours.  If you are following my series Fun Fold Friday, this is just a stepped up version of that simple gate fold card that I showed in Episode 1 and I was inspired by a card I saw Wendy Crawford make.

Materials

1 piece of Night of Navy card stock 4 1/8" x 11 1/2"
1 piece of Whisper White card stock 3 1/2" x 5 1/8"
3 pieces of Night of Navy card stock 1" x 4"
I piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 1/2"
2 pieces of dsp2 5/8" x 3 7/8"
3 pieces of dsp 3/4" x 3 3/4"
Scraps of whisper white and navy card stock
Stamp set of your choice for the sentiment
Night of navy ink
2" circle punch
2 1/4" circle punch
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

Score the long piece of card stock 2 7/8" from either end, fold and burnish to make a gate fold card.

Adhere the largest piece of dsp to the inside centre piece of the card, then adhere the large whisper white piece to the centre of this, leaving a small border all around.

Adhere the two front pieces of dsp to the two front flaps of the card making sure that they are level on both sides.

Adhere the strips of dsp to the strips of card stock.

Arrange the three strips on the front of the folded card and adhere the top and bottom one to the left hand flap and the middle one to the right. Make sure that you only put adhesive on the part of the strip that will be stuck down on each side (see picture).

Stamp a sentiment on to the scrap of whisper white card and punch out with the 2" circle punch and then layer up on a 2 1/4" circle punched from the scrap of night of navy card.  Add dimensionals to the top and the bottom of the circle making sure that they adhere the circle to the top and bottom strip.  When closed the centre strip will go through the gap in between the circle and the left hand edge.

I hope that you enjoyed this fun fold card.
