Peaceful Poppies Get Well Card

Hi Everyone,

Today I have made a Get Well card to cheer someone up because they are not very well.  I've used the beautiful Peaceful Poppies dsp and  the sentiments are from Sending You Thoughts which is a FREE stamp set offered during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying £45 purchase from either of the current catalogues.

Materials

1 piece of thick whisper white 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of rich razzleberry card stock 3 7/8" x 5 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 1/4"
Scraps for the sentiment
Stitched So Sweetly Dies
Die Cutting machine
Scrap of black, glitter ribbon approx 7"
Rich Razzleberry ink
Sending You Thoughts stamp set
Trimmer
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

Score the thick whisper white at 4 1/8" on the long side and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp a sentiment on the inside of the card with rich razzleberry ink.

Add the dsp to the rich razzleberry layer with multipurpose adhesive.

Wrap the ribbon around the two layers and secure on the back with a bit of sticky tape or snail.

Stamp the sentiment for the front of the card on a scrap of whisper white and then die cut that and a larger layer in rich razzleberry with the stitched scalloped rectangle dies.  Adhere the stamped layer to the larger layer and then adhere them both with dimensionals to the front of the card, over the ribbon.

There you are, a quick card to cheer someone up with, I hope that you like it.
