You're a Peach - Share it on a Sunday

 Hi Everyone,

This week for Share it on a Sunday, the three of us are showcasing the You're a Peach designer series papers, they are so pretty. I don't have the stamp set yet so I decided to use one of the more neutral designs and use it as a background to show off the new Dots Embossing Folder and the gorgeous Pierced Bloom dies. Let me show you how I made my card.

Materials

1 piece of calypso coral card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of basic white 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", 1 piece 2 1/2" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of dsp 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
Scraps of calypso coral, basic white, old olive and gold foil for the die cutting
Pierced Bloom dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine
Checks and Dots Embossing Folders
Calypso Coral ink
Color & Contour stamp set
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder

Instructions

On the long side, score the calypso coral card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a landscape card base.

Add the dsp mat layer to the card front.

Die cut a selection of flowers and leaves as well as a bow and then run the smaller piece of white card through the machine in the Dots Embossing folder.

Adhere the embossed card across the centre of the card lining it up with the edges of the designer series paper.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of basic white and die cut the label then add it to the centre of the card using dimensionals.  Arrange the flowers and leaves around the sentiment and then add the bow in the top left corner.

Add the remaining white piece to the inside of the card and decorate with a 1/2" strip of the dsp.

There you are, a quick and simple card.  Don't forget to check out what Donna and Victoria have made.
