Pansy Petals Bookbinder Fold Thank You Card

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing a card that I made for a swap recently. The theme was 'Designer Series Paper' and I have chosen the gorgeous Pansy Petals.  I have used the 2021-2023 In Colours, the Pansy Patch stamp set and my favourite dies too.  Let me show you how I made it.

Materials

1 piece of in colour card stock 4 1/8" x 11 1/2"
1 piece of dsp 4 1/4" x 3 3/4", 1 piece 7/8" x 4"
2 pieces of basic white 4 1/2" x 4"
Scraps of in colour and basic white card for the rectangles
Pansy Patch stamp set
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine
In Colour ink
In Colour ribbon
2021-2023 In Colour Jewels
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side, score the in colour card at 5 3/4" and 6 3/4" and fold in half and burnish and then fold the other one back on itself - this bit will be glued together later to form the book binding element.

Adhere the dsp and basic white mat layers to the front and the spine section.

Wrap the ribbon around the spine piece and tie a bow. Adhere these sections together and the ribbon will be trapped between the layers and secured in place.

Die cut two rectangles using the in colour and the basic white so that one will sit on top of the other.

Stamp the sentiment on the white layer using the matching in colour ink,  add to the card front with dimensionals and add a couple of jewels.

Stamp another sentiment on the remaining piece of white card stock and adhere on the inside of the card.

There you are a very quick and simple fun fold card.
