Art Gallery - CASE the Catalogue - Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop

 Hi Everyone,

Today I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Group and we are CASEing the catalogue. The project that I have chosen to CASE is on page 13 of the Annual Catalogue and is using the Art Gallery stamp set.  I'm teaming it with Pansy Petals dsp and the 2021-2023 In Colours and I am making three versions of the card: one for the beginner who doesn't have many supplies, one for the casual crafter who has a bit more and is more experienced and the third is for the avid crafter who has loads of supplies and been crafting for a while.  Let me show you how I made them:

Materials

3 card bases 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" (I've used soft succulent), 1 piece 3 1/4" x 5 1/4", 1/2" scraps for the sentiments
3 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside
1 piece basic white 3 1/4" x 5", scraps for stamping the flowers
2 pieces of pansy petals gingham dsp 3 1/4" x 5"
Pale Papaya ink
Fresh Freesia ink
Polished Pink ink
Soft Succulent ink
Evening Evergreen ink
Pumpkin Pie ink
Floral Gallery dies
Art Gallery stamp set
Stampin Cut and Emboss machine

2021-2023 In Colour Jewels
White twine
5" piece of pale papaya open weave ribbon
Trimmer
Simply scored
Multipurpose adhesive
Dimensionals
Mini glue dots

Instructions

Beginner card

Score the soft succulent on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp the sentiment in two directions (up and down) on the smaller piece of basic white in pale papaya, then stamp the highlight stamp in pumpkin pie over the top of the flowers.

Cut two strips of soft succulent 1/2" x 2 3/4", stamp the sentiment in Evening Evergreen on one of them and then adhere them together, offset as in the picture and add to the centre of the stamping to cover the bottom of the stems.

Add the white mat to the card front to the right hand side as in the picture.

Stamp another flower on the inside mat layer and then adhere inside the card.

Casual Crafter Card

Score the soft succulent on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp the flowers once in pale papaya with the pumpkin pie over the top and once in fresh freesia with the polished pink over the top (see picture) on the scrap of basic white.  Die cut these two images.

Stamp the sentiment in evening evergreen on a scrap of soft succulent and cut out with the label die from the Floral Gallery dies. Cut a strip of soft succulent 1/2" x 2 3/4" as on the beginner card.

Add the dsp panel to the card front to the right hand side and then arrange the two floral die cuts one going up and one going down as in the picture with dimensionals to give them some depth.  Adhere the sentiment strips together as before and add to the card front on dimensionals across the centre of the images to cover the bottom of the stems.

Tie a bow with two pieces of twine and add to the sentiment layer using a mini glue dot. Add some of the jewels to the dsp around the flowers.

Stamp another flower on the inside mat layer and then adhere inside the card.

Avid Crafter Card

Score the soft succulent on the long side at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Stamp the flowers once in pale papaya with the pumpkin pie over the top and twice in fresh freesia with the polished pink over the top (see picture) on the scrap of basic white.  Die cut these three images. Stamp two sets of the leaves in soft succulent and die cut them as well as the sentiment label as before.

Run the piece of soft succulent through the machine in the Bark embossing folder.

Add the embossed mat at an angle across the card front using glue.

Snip the floral images apart, I've kept the bunch in the middle and then cut off the spriggy bits and the single flowers at the sides and mixed and matched them together (see picture). Add the leaves to the dsp first and then arrange the flowers and sprigs, mixing the colours as shown and add to the card using dimensionals on some.

Wrap the ribbon around the centre covering the bottom of the stems and secure on the back with some sticky tape, then add this layer on top of the embossed mat but straight on the card as shown.

Add the sentiment on dimensionals across the middle and add a twine bow as before and sprinkle some jewels.

Stamp another flower on the inside mat layer and then adhere inside the card.

These are the cards that I used as my inspiration
