Happiest of Birthdays - Share it on a Sunday - Kids Cards

 Hi Everyone,

Today we are sharing 'Kids Cards' for Share it on a Sunday, so I've gone for bright colours and a little bit of sparkle.  I'm using the Happiest of Birthdays stamp set and the Stitched Triangle dies.

Materials

1 piece of bumblebee card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4"
1 piece of real red card stock 4" x 5 5/8"
1 piece of basic white card stock 3 5/8" x 5 3/8" for the stamping and 1 piece 3 7/8" x 5 5/8" for the inside
Scraps of In-Colour dsp stack
Oval Occasions stamp set
Happiest of Birthdays stamp set
Stitched Triangle dies
Real red ink
Bumblebee ink
Just jade ink
Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine
Trimmer
Simply scored
Bone folder
Basic rhinestones
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

On the long side, score the bumblebee card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make a portrait card base.

Adhere the real red mat layer.

Die cut a couple of banners and tiny triangles for party hats from the dies.

Stamp the main sentiment in real red in the centre of the smaller basic white layer. Adhere the banners at the top and add the tiny triangles as party hats on a couple of the letters.  Stamp the stars from the Oval Occasions set in bumblebee, just jade and real red around the main sentiment and also on the piece of basic white for the inside.

Adhere this layer to the card front and add some rhinestones to the top of the party hats and as the dots on the 'i' in the words.

There you are, a quick and simple card for a child in nice bright colours, I hope that you like it. Please pop over and see what Donna and Victoria have made this week.
