Fun Fold Friday - #6 Tri Panel Card Using Pressed Petals and Floral Essence

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to Episode 6 of Fun Fold Friday.  Today I have a simple tri-panel card which is really simple to make but looks great.  I've combined the lovely Pressed Petals designer series paper and the gorgeous Floral Essence stamp set.

There is a video tutorial for this card on my YouTube channel, click the link below

#6 - Tri-panel Card

Materials

1 piece of rococco rose card stock 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"
2 pieces of very vanilla card stock 2 3/4" x 5 1/4"
2 pieces of dsp 1 1/4" x 5 1/4"
2 pieces of dsp 1 1/8" x 5 1/4"
Scraps of rococco rose for the flowers and the sentiment mat
Scrap of very vanilla for the sentiment
Scrap of old olive vellum for the leaves
Stitched So Sweetly dies
Die Cutting Machine
Merry Merlot ink
Floral Essence stamp set
Leaf punch
Perennial Flower punch
Dimensionals
Multipurpose adhesive

Instructions

On the long side of the card stock, score at 1 1/2", 2 3/4", 5 3/4" and 7", then fold and burnish the scorelines.

Add a very vanilla layer to the centre panel on the back and the front of the card.

Arrange the dsp layers on the side panels and adhere in place leaving a small border all around them.

Stamp a sentiment on to the scrap of very vanilla and then die cut this with a scalloped rectangle and die cut a larger one in rococco rose to use as a mat for it.  Glue the two together and then add to the centre of the card using dimensionals.

Stamp 4 of the three petal flowers on the rococco card stock with the merry merlot ink and then punch them out. To give them some dimension, I have twisted the petals with a pair of tweezers but you can also curve them with a bone folder.  Glue one set of petals onto another to make a flower, off setting the petals.  Add a dimensional to the back of each one.  Punch out the leaves with the leaf punch and add two to the back of each flower and then arrange the flowers on the centre panel of the card above and below the sentiment.

I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and will come back for Episode 7 next week.
