Birthday Bonanza Treat Bag

Hi Everyone,

I thought I'd make some little treat bags.  They are always handy for birthdays and 'just because' little treats, they are a good size and you can get lots of chocs/sweets/treats in them (approx 200gms).

Materials

1 piece of dsp 6" x 12"
tear and tape
Bonanza Buddies stamp set
2" circle punch
Starburst punch
Daffodil delight ruched ribbon
Hole punch
Scraps of grapefruit grove and whisper white card stock
Calypso coral ink
Bermuda bay ink
Daffodil delight ink
Scrap of Birthday Bonanza to fussy cut koala or stamp and cut out
Dimensionals
Multipurpose glue

Instructions

On the long side. carefully score the paper at 2", 5 1/2", 7 1/2" and 11", then turn on the short side and score at 2".

Fold and burnish all the score lines.

Remove the skinny rectangle on the end and notch the top edge ever so slightly, then cut up the score lines from the bottom to the first horizontal score line and notch the tabs.

Add tear and tape to the outside of the long tab and then fold the other side over to cover it and seal up the sides of the bag.

Turn the bag upside sown and fold the two side tabs in and then the back flap and then put tear and tape on to the inside of the front flap and secure in place.

Push your fingers in to the side sections at the top and pinch the top edges together and punch two holes in the centre section about 2" apart and thread through the ribbon and tie a bow.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white and punch out with the 2" circle punch, I have also added some of the little pom poms stamped in bermuda bay, calypso coral and daffodil delight.  Punch out a starburst from the scrap of grapefruit grove card and glue the sentiment to it.  Fussy cut (or stamp) a koala and add to the side of the sentiment with some glue.  Add dimensionals to the back and add to the front of the bag.
