Country Gingham Petal Park Birthday Card - Stamp N Hop

 Hi Everyone,

For the Stamp 'N' Hop Blog Hop this month I have chosen to use the Country Gingham dsp with the beautiful Petal Park and Best Family Ever stamp sets from the new Mini Catalogue. I love the gingham (anyone who knows me knows that haha), I love the subtle colours which can be teamed up with all sorts of stamp sets and dies and punches. The new Petal Park stamp set comes with a punch too and is a quick and easy way to add some flowers to your project.

Materials

1 piece of mint macaron card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scrap for the sentiment
2 pieces of basic white card stock 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scraps for the sentiment and flowers
1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
Mint macaron ink
Fresh Freesia ink
So Saffron ink
Pear Pizzazz ink
Petal Park stamp set
Petal Park Builder Punch
Hearts Punch Pack
Best Family Ever stamp set
Adhesive Backed Milky Dots

Dimensionals

Instructions

On the long side score the mint macaron card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Add one of the basic white mats to the card front and then add the dsp layer.

Stamp a sentiment on the remaining piece of basic white and adhere to the inside of the card.

Stamp some flowers and leaves on some scrap basic white and punch out, crumple the flowers a little bit to give them some definition and dimension.

Stamp a sentiment on a scrap and punch out with the straight edged heart and then punch out the scalloped one in the mint macaron and layer the two together.

Add the sentiment using dimensionals and add some of the smallest flowers and a leaf. Then arrange the remaining flowers and leaves on the card front adding some on dimensionals.  I also added some to the inside of the card.

Add the Milky Dots to the flower centres and the card is complete.
