craftykarendesigns: By the Bay Appreciation Card

Hi Everyone,

A quick and easy card today with the dsp doing all of the hard work. The By the Bay designer series paper is lovely (I'm not keen on the shells and creatures etc but the rest of it is gorgeous). I've teamed it with a sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Bundle and a bit of gold foil and embossing to finish it off.

Materials

1 piece of Coastal Cabana card stock 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scrap for the sentiment

1 piece of gold foil 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", scrap for the sentiment

1 piece of basic white card 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

1 piece of dsp 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Versamark ink

Metallics Embossing Powders

Heat Tool

Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine

Instructions

On the long side score the coastal cabana card at 4 1/8" and fold and burnish to make the card base.

Die cut the two hearts from the centre of the piece of gold foil and then adhere it to the card front and add the dsp over the top, this will hide that you have cut hearts from the mat.

Stamp a sentiment on the basic white for the inside and on the scrap of coastal cabana using Versamark ink. Sprinkle with gold embossing powder and set with the Heat Tool.

Adhere the basic white layer to the inside of the card.

Die cut the sentiment and then adhere to a scrap of gold foil and cut around the outline leaving a small border. Add to the card front on dimensionals and then add the hearts above and below it.

A very quick and easy card, I hope that you like it.
